But people ask me about it all the time, and hey… I don’t mind telling the story.

This weekend I was at Cosplay Con in Thibodaux, Louisiana, and the people set up next to me ended up falling in love with DopeSmack and everything I’m putting together with the Dark Atom Universe. We also found out they live right down the highway from me, which was pretty dope.

So, they started asking me how I got here, naturally I started running my mouth lol.

I started telling them about the different steps, the obstacles, the crazy situations along the way, how I met John Schneider and how he eventually ended up in my film. Which, by the way, was probably the most expensive part of my film. It was a favor… but it definitely wasn’t a free one. lol

As I’m telling them all of this, they tell me I should write a book. Look, I love telling stories, but I’m a filmmaker. I’m not a book writer. That’s exactly what I told them. But they insisted.

So maybe I won’t write a book, but I can definitely write a blog about it. lol Maybe one day somebody else will write the book. If they don’t, I won’t be upset.

So I think I’m going to start using this platform to tell some of those stories for the people who are actually interested and think some of the things I’ve accomplished, screwed up, learned from and somehow survived are worth reading about. I might even post the occasional video and just talk about some of it.

Anyway… DopeSmack Origin Part Three is coming. And if you want to know how I got here, stay tuned. I’ve got some crazy stories to tell. And yeah… more films are coming too.
